Sunday Benefit Tastings with The Tea Mistress

Every Sunday from 2PM-4PM there will be a tea tasting, chocolate tasting, and/or coffee cupping session at the Tea Mistress’ location in Houston with light refreshments served. Come by and taste and evaluate 3 teas, coffees, chocolates or hot chocolates and support a local non-profit!

Your admission fee will go to Lone Star Houston Tea Festival, Inc., a non-profit organization that organizes the Houston Tea Festival and Lone Star Iced Tea Festival.

Upcoming Tasting Themes

  • July 23: Gosh, That's Good! Matcha & Chocolate - Admission fee: $10 per person.
    This week's talk and tasting will feature Gosh, That's Good! brand powdered matcha and cocoa for ice-cold, refreshing frappes! Light refreshments will accompany the beverages.
  • July 30: No Tasting

Reserve Your Spot
The Sunday tastings are limited to 12 people. If you would like to reserve your spot in advance, you can pay your admission fee here. Before completing your transaction you will have the opportunity to add a message. Please note what date your payment is for, thank you! You can also stop by our store to pay in advance to reserve your spot.

Please Note: Children aged 10 and over may attend. The stated admission price applies to children and adults. Quiet babies/infants welcome to attend for free as long as you keep them in your lap/carrier and not on a chair as we only have a limited number of chairs.

Wednesdays in July at our shop will feature intuitive astrology readings by Ginger McCord (by appointment). The Tea Mistress will pour you a cup of coffee or tea, and you can sip while Ginger McCord tunes into your energy and runs your horoscope. Ginger is a professional intuitive astrologer with 25 years of experience. She's also the publisher of Indigo Sun Magazine, a free monthly publication serving the Houston-area metaphysical community.

Please note: At least 30 minutes advance notice required in order to schedule a reading. Please be prepared to provide your birthdate, birth time, and birthplace. Price is $50 for a 40-minute reading. Your reading will come with a customized astrological chart and a recording of your session. To schedule your appointment, call Ginger at 713-526-8822.
